RISING PAIN To Enter Studio Next Month

September 25, 2008

Phoenix, Arizona-based brutal metallers RISING PAIN will enter Arcane Digital Recording in Chandler, Arizona on October 11 with producer Ryan Butler (NORTH SIDE KINGS, STRUCTURE OF LIES, UNRUH, MERCITRON, LANDMINE MARATHON) to begin recording their third CD, entitled "The Essence of Decay". "We're still putting the finishing touches to the songs and can wait to get back in!" the band writes in a press release. "We decided to play a new one this past weekend at The Big Fish Pub and people really seemed to dig it! Even though we fucked it up!! So we can't wait to record! This is the freshest album we've ever done, and by that I mean that it's an album that's gonna show where our musical heads are NOW! Not a year ago, three years ago! And I think the music benefited a lot from that!" A January 2009 release is expected.

RISING PAIN previously released the "Salvation for None" EP in 2003 and the "Existence is Futile" LP on Open Grave Records in 2007.
